Do you climb on crags and want to broaden your horizons?
You might want to try your hand at multi-pitch climbing.
The techniques you’ve learnt on crags will help you follow a logical line up a face several hundred metres high, along an elegant and adventurous route, albeit equipped with fixed protection that is always reliable. This activity can be enjoyed all year round, from low-altitude crags or even by the sea, or in the mid-mountains, right up to high-mountain peaks and faces, depending on the season and personal preference. Compared to crag climbing, the environment in which you climb is usually wild and unspoilt.
During the ascents, you will learn the specific techniques essential for tackling this type of route safely, as well as abseiling techniques, which can often be the only way to return to the base of the route you have just climbed.
