Day 1
We will meet at the selected mountain hut in the late afternoon.
You will make your own way up to the hut; you may request to be accompanied for an additional charge of €125.
Accommodation will be at the Vittorio Emanuele II mountain hut (departure from Pont Valsavarenche) or the F. Chabod (departure from Pravieux).
Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2
Breakfast and departure around 4:00 am.
Ascent to the summit and return to the refuge.
Lunch and descent to the valley.
Gran Paradiso (4,061 m): the only mountain over 4,000 metres entirely within Italy.
The ascent starts from Valsavarenche: whichever route you take to reach the summit, the journey is varied and enjoyable.
We are in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park, and along the paths leading to the mountain huts it is common to spot wildlife at close quarters, something rarely experienced in other areas.
The panorama stretches from Monviso to the Dauphiné and Vanoise, from Mont Blanc to the Grand Combin, and from the Matterhorn to Monte Rosa.
